Called to Lovely
We are called Lovely because the Holy Spirit said “the Lord requests your friendship”.
We didn't know what that meant, what that looked like
but we began to let the thought simmer.
What started from rejection,
formed a desire to share beauty with the world.
For we saw beauty differently than others,
and we wanted to know why.
So soul searching and spirit led exploring begun.
As each trial and situation arose in life,
we found ourselves balancing each other out.
We discovered that true friendship blossoms when its anointed by God.
That is truly what we were lucky enough to experience.
God knew we needed each other, and he needed us.
We learned about each other's spiritual journey,
and what we felt we have learned from the past.
We continuously grew,
and expanded our hearts
to know one another on a deeper level
as well as God and his plan for our lives and friendship.
We are blessed.
We don’t even live near one another.
8 hours + away and we still maintain the sisterhood style companionship.
Positive habits developed,
and created a natural effect of illuminating
and revealing someone who is
“family” by the blood of our father who is in heaven.
We consider each other sisters.
We treat each other like family.
In this we have come to notice
how much this world has an effect on us,
as women,
as men,
as humans in general.
Our passion for Jesus
leads our daily steps the best we can.
We are each other's faith checker,
emotional support,
advice giver,
and reminder of the grace of God
Because we often forget this part of our relationship with God.
We were glad to have found each other
to serve as personal reminders for the moments
when we forget
and the trials are too much to bare.
This is when we made the decision to follow the call.
To spread God's love like wildfire.
We wanted to connect people to the joys
of freedom in God and to build relationships with people on Earth.
To ignite a desire to step out of the boxes
and share the way God let's us see the world
with all of you.
Lovely is our mission,
because we believe he made us this way.
Our path is to share our journeys & victories.
We are called to share how we see beauty differently.
Because we see it differently,
He has called it Lovely.
