Budding
Spreading wings like the take off of a new swan.
The buds of the rose batch grow strong.
With each green stem,
folds of pinks and reds.
Like satin, the petals will spread,
catching little droplets of rain from the heavens.
They will twist with new growth,
like the skirt of a gown.
